MONTREAL, QUEBEC and TORONTO, ONTARIO and PARIS, FRANCE -- (Marketwired) -- 02/25/14 -- Engagement Labs Inc. (TSX VENTURE: EL) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Sheldon M. Pollack to its Board of Directors. Mr. Pollack brings over 30 years of experience in the technology sector including having built one of North America's largest IT service organizations.
Mr. Pollack founded OnX in 1983 and today OnX has revenues of approximately $750M with offices located throughout Canada, the United States and Europe. OnX also owns Momentum Advanced Solutions, one of Canada's largest digital agencies. In 2011, Mr. Pollack sold the majority of his position in OnX, but he remains a significant shareholder in the company and holds the position of vice-chairman. Mr. Pollack was an Ernst & Young, Entrepreneur of the Year finalist in 2000 and OnX was designated as one of Canada's Best Managed companies in 2008, 2009, and 2010.
Mr. Pollack has extensive experience in both the public and private markets. Mr. Pollack is currently an active investor, board member and advisor to a number of early stage technology based organizations. In addition to his activities in commercial ventures, Mr. Pollack founded AbilityGives, a charity focused on providing much needed specialized equipment to children with disabilities.
