MANCHESTER, N.H., Feb. 25, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- PillPack, the pharmacy that simplifies medication management, has launched its door-to-door service in North Carolina. Customers receive their prescriptions delivered in individual packs labeled with the date and time, replacing error-prone pill boxes and manual solutions. PillPack is the first pharmacy whose service addresses the hassles of a complex medication routine.
"Managing medications is a complicated and stressful chore for people who have multiple prescriptions," said TJ Parker, PharmD, CEO of PillPack. "PillPack is making the end-to-end process both simple and understandable. As a result, it's easy for our customers to take medications exactly as prescribed."
PillPack is designed to serve people who manage multiple medications. Every two weeks, customers receive a personalized roll of pre-sorted medications, along with a recyclable dispenser and any other medications that cannot be placed into packets, like liquids and inhalers. Each shipment includes a medication label that explains what each pill is and how it should be taken. In addition to pre-sorting medications, PillPack coordinates refills and guarantees shipping of all medications on time, every time. Easy-to-use online tools allow customers to track their shipments, refills, and co-pays. Customers can call their PillPack pharmacist at any time to ask questions or clarify instructions.
Switching to PillPack takes about five minutes. New customers can sign up online at www.pillpack.com. The Company accepts most prescription drug insurance plans, including most Medicare Part D plans. North Carolina is the 32nd state in which PillPack is licensed.
PillPack is a full-service pharmacy that delivers a better, simpler experience through convenient packaging, modern technology, and personalized service. For more information, please visit PillPack.com or follow us @PillPack.
