Patriot Technologies Announces Partnership With Thursby Software

FREDERICK, MD -- (Marketwired) -- 02/25/14 -- Expanding on its integrated Mobile Device Security Management (MDSM) offerings, Patriot today announced a partnership with Thursby Software -- a leader in the public key infrastructure (PKI) and public key enablement (PKE) industry.

Leveraging the Thursby PKard® technology stack for strong iPad, iPhone, Android tablet or smartphone mobile security with U.S. Government CAC or PIV smart cards, industry standard PIV-I cards, and FIPS 140-2 encryption -- including secure browser, email and custom-app building capabilities -- highly regulated organizations now have a wide range of options for providing protected application and data access to mobile end-users. In addition to offering PKard solutions, Patriot is working to integrate these solutions with Mobile Device Management (MDM) platforms -- thereby providing strong authentication and device security to a wide range of industries.

The Thursby devices will be offered as part of Patriot's Mobile Device Security Management (MDSM) solution. Patriot's MDSM solution is a combination of various technologies that address a wide variety of mobile concerns, including the security state of the mobile device, the applications and data resident on the device, the identity and privileges of the device user, the location of the device, and the networks to which the device connects. All technologies are then integrated and monitored providing real-time visibility.
