WASHINGTON, Feb. 26, 2014 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The United States Department of Education (USDOE) ruled to reinstate U.S. federal loan program eligibility to the Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara (UAG) Medical School in Jalisco, Mexico. Following a USDOE regulatory change, federal financial aid for over 1,200 UAG students from the United States, including Puerto Rico, was briefly suspended pending a review of UAG clinical programs in the continental United States and Puerto Rico. University officials wish to express their gratitude to the USDOE and to the students for their patience and resolve over the last several weeks, and to highlight the incredible support they received from alumni, friends, and supporters around the globe. As of yesterday, all affected students will have their government-supported financial aid restored. The UAG welcomes several hundred students from the continental U.S. and Puerto Rico annually and has been eligible for the United States federal loan programs since 1982. The University is pleased to continue a long tradition of educating U.S. citizens from the continental U.S. and Puerto Rico, and to contribute to the pledge U.S. President Obama and Mexican President Peña Nieto made to increased bilateral student exchange as part of the U.S. State Department's 100,000 Strong in the Americas.

See storage differently! Storage performance problems have only gotten worse and harder to solve as applications have become largely virtualized and moved to a cloud-based infrastructure. Storage performance in a virtualized environment is not just about IOPS, it is about how well that potential performance is guaranteed to individual VMs for these apps as the number of VMs keep going up real time.
