Camfil Launches 2014 Mobile Advanced Containment Experience (MACE) Tour

Air Filter Leader To Bring Hands-On Demonstration Unit to Venues Throughout the U.S.

RIVERDALE, N.J., Feb. 27, 2014 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- Camfil USA, Inc. -- the world's leading provider of clean air solutions -- is pleased to announce that its unique Mobile Advanced Containment Experience will be touring throughout the United States in 2014.  MACE, as it is known, is centered around a unique 38-foot trailer that features hands-on demonstration units from Camfil.  It will enable visitors to see firsthand the most recent advances in air filtration and containment technology.

Camfil's trailer -- which made its first appearance at the 2013 ABSA conference in Kansas City, Missouri -- showcases fundamental containment components to targeted market segments.  For the biocontainment marketplace, it will highlight Camfil's CamContain product line.  For the life sciences industry, Camfil's Pharmaseal takes center stage.  Visitors will be able to see a live HEPA filter scan performed using Camfil's Safescan automated filter scanning unit and CamControl test equipment.  They will be able to look inside containment housings and change filters with no risk of exposure. And they will be able to operate different automated bubble-tight damper options to help determine the best choice for their facility.

For Camfil, developing high-efficiency clean air products has always been the company's top priority -- and one that it achieves with a long list of innovative products, thanks to a half dozen global research centers.  Using advanced engineering and designs, Camfil air filters and filtration products have been proven to perform better than more traditionally designed products -- while requiring less energy, and less frequent replacement.

However, developing industry-leading products is just the start.  Over the years, Camfil has also stressed the importance of education and awareness: getting the word out about advanced air filtration products to key decision makers within the biotechnology, pharmaceutical, technology, health care, and manufacturing industries.  MACE is yet the latest example of Camfil's outreach at work -- and a highly successful example at that.  At its first appearance at the ABSA venue, an estimated 50 percent of conference attendees walked through the mobile demonstration center.

The 2014 MACE tour kicks off in February in the Southern and Central U.S. before heading to the Northeast and to the West Coast.  The trailer will make stops at Camfil's distributor and representative locations, as well as at key conferences and trade shows.  A full list of dates and locations will be available -- and continually updated as new stops are added -- on Camfil's Facebook page, which will also contain photos and videos of the events.

Upcoming stops include:

            ●  February 19-20 -- Columbia, SC (hosted by Hoffman & Hoffman, Inc.)

            ●  March 5-6 -- Knoxville, TN (hosted by Hoffman & Hoffman, Inc.)

            ●  March 10-11 -- Memphis, TN (hosted by Mills-Wilson-George, Inc.)

I wanted to gather all of my Internet of Things (IOT) blogs into a single blog (that I could later use with my University of San Francisco (USF) Big Data “MBA” course). However as I started to pull these blogs together, I realized that my IOT discussion lacked a vision; it lacked an end point towards which an organization could drive their IOT envisioning, proof of value, app dev, data engineering and data science efforts. And I think that the IOT end point is really quite simple…
