New Partnership Allows Consumers to Pay With LevelUp to Save Time and Money When They Order From Foodler

BOSTON, MA --(Marketwired - February 27, 2014) - Foodler, the nationwide online food ordering service that connects consumers with the widest variety of restaurants for immediate delivery, today announced a new partnership with LevelUp that makes it easier, faster and more rewarding to pay for delicious food from more than 13,000 locations across the US and Canada. Starting today, customers can opt to conduct a one-time account link between their Foodler and LevelUp accounts to order food from all of their favorite restaurants. Foodler customers ordering from restaurants running loyalty campaigns or specials will earn, accrue and redeem rewards just as if they were making an in-store payment.

To pay with LevelUp, Foodler users need only to follow a few simple steps:

  • Select LevelUp as a payment method and enter your email address
  • Receive a push notification to your LevelUp app and confirm permission
  • Your LevelUp account is now linked to Foodler for all future checkouts

"Foodler is dedicated to helping people take advantage of the latest technology to improve their lives," said Foodler CEO Christian Dumontet. "The future of online food ordering is in mobile. By partnering with an innovative mobile payments company like LevelUp, we are helping our customers earn rewards for something they're already doing -- ordering food from our online platforms and mobile apps."

The partnership is the result of LevelUp's Developer Platform which allows third parties to add payment and campaign functionality to their apps via a free API/SDK. Using this API, businesses can integrate LevelUp into their web or mobile app as a simple and safe payment method, enabling customers to pay with their phones at physical store locations and even integrate LevelUp seamlessly into a POS system. Foodler's partnership streamlines the checkout experience for users and makes it faster and easier than ever for customers to pay for delivery meals and earn rewards from LevelUp.

"We're delighted to be partners with Foodler. They've built their brand by providing the fastest, most convenient, most rewarding way for their customers to order online and we're thrilled to be a part of making that even better," said Seth Priebatsch, Chief Ninja of LevelUp.

To celebrate their partnership, Foodler and LevelUp are both offering new customers $5 to spend on Foodler, when they pay with LevelUp.

Companies are harnessing data in ways we once associated with science fiction. Analysts have access to a plethora of visualization and reporting tools, but considering the vast amount of data businesses collect and limitations of CPUs, end users are forced to design their structures and systems with limitations. Until now. As the cloud toolkit to analyze data has evolved, GPUs have stepped in to massively parallel SQL, visualization and machine learning.
We all know that end users experience the Internet primarily with mobile devices. Enterprises are adopting Kubernetes to accelerate the development and the delivery of cloud-native applications. However, sharing a Kubernetes cluster between members of the same team can be challenging. And, sharing clusters across multiple teams is even harder. Kubernetes offers several constructs to help implement segmentation and isolation. However, these primitives can be complex to understand and apply. As a result, it’s becoming common for enterprises to end up with several clusters. Thi...
