Being a businesswoman, I know how busy an entrepreneur's life is. In order to make sure that my business runs cost-effectively and everything happens on time, I have opted for a number of ideas and services. I have realized over time that management of IT is something which consumes a lot of money and time. In order to eliminate my headache related to IT services, I have opted for the Cloud.
Few features which help out an entrepreneur are as follows:
1. Expenses are reduced considerably
Running business-related activities in the cloud is far more economic than managing an on-site infrastructure to organize the business. This feature is much more beneficial if you manage a small or mid-size company. Since the up-front expenses are appreciably reduced, you can use the saved money to develop your own products and services. This will enhance the flexibility of your enterprise in the market.
2. Flexibility is enhanced manifold
Cloud-based services allow you to manage your business related activities from any corner of the world. If you are into business and have not yet opted for the cloud, then you might be well-aware of how you have to remain confined to your workplace in order to complete your task. With cloud, you can travel anywhere and still complete your tasks as everything is there for you in the cloud.
3. Issues arising out of operations are significantly reduced
If you have your applications, software, hardware, and infrastructure managed at a distant location in the cloud, you render yourselves free from all the worries arising out of operational issues. This is only possible because cloud is managed by a third party. If you have a smaller business, then you can delegate your time and resources to other activities instead of wasting it on the management of servers and infrastructure.
4. More reliable setup for your business
Cloud-based services are much more reliable than an on-site infrastructure. At this instance, I would like to cite an incidence that I faced when I was not a part of the world of cloud. My company used to manage each and every document on the local computer systems. Way back in May 2011, due to server failure, I lost each and every data that was stored on the local disks. Thankfully, we had maintained a backup in the hard drives. It was the moment which made me realize that on-system working is not at all reliable. It might lead to the failure of my business. It was when I shifted to the cloud. With a cloud-based setup, backup of your files and data is prepared on regular basis, thereby ensuring that you are working in a reliable scenario.
5. Improves the collaboration
Any business will be a success if all the segments engaged in the organization work in close collaboration with each other. You would not need to mail massive digital files to your co-workers each time. Whatever you want to share with your juniors or co-workers, it can simply be showcased straightaway from the Internet. Besides this, cloud also allows a number of employees to work simultaneously on the same project. Thus, cloud allows an entrepreneur to render multi-tasking in his organization.
Being a part of cloud world has allowed me to bring a marked improvement in my business. I have not only saved a lot of money in past 2.5 years but have also strengthened the working environment of my company. I would recommend cloud to each and every entrepreneur.

IoT solutions exploit operational data generated by Internet-connected smart “things” for the purpose of gaining operational insight and producing “better outcomes” (for example, create new business models, eliminate unscheduled maintenance, etc.). The explosive proliferation of IoT solutions will result in an exponential growth in the volume of IoT data, precipitating significant Information Governance issues: who owns the IoT data, what are the rights/duties of IoT solutions adopters towards t...

Regulatory requirements exist to promote the controlled sharing of information, while protecting the privacy and/or security of the information. Regulations for each type of information have their own set of rules, policies, and guidelines. Cloud Service Providers (CSP) are faced with increasing demand for services at decreasing prices. Demonstrating and maintaining compliance with regulations is a nontrivial task and doing so against numerous sets of regulatory requirements can be daunting task...
