LOS ANGELES, March 2, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- The week leading up to the Oscars is always an incredibly busy time in Hollywood as Oscar nominees, presenters and numerous celebrities prepare to walk down the red carpet showcasing the epitome of style. One of their most important fashion choices is the perfect jewelry to complete the look. This past week, those international "A-Listers" were treated to an exclusive preview of diamond fashion pieces created as a unique collaboration between the top designers in China, along with leading jewelry manufacturers. The "Fashion of Diamonds" collection was showcased at the StyleLab Jewelry Suite in Hollywood. The collection is not only special because of the caliber of design and craftsmanship, but also because it features highly fashionable looks that showcase the versatility and brilliance of diamonds from the Argyle mine in Australia. The finely crafted jewelry drew gasps of amazement and joy from the would-be wearers.
Award winning designer Fei Liu's collection has been brought to life by Y&M Jewelry, drawing upon nature, using floral design to embody dreams as aspiration. Actress Maitland Ward from the upcoming television show "Girl Meets World" was mesmerized by Fei's draped necklace featuring flowers that symbolize good fortune.
Writer and director Amma Asante selected Fei Liu's diamond drop earrings and ring for the "2014 GREAT British Oscar Reception" on February 28th.
Created by KGK Group, Paris based designer Wen Wei Tong's collection features traditional Chinese elements with a contemporary twist. Katja Cahill, stylist for Sharon Osborne, eyed Wen Wei Tong's delicate floral earrings for her client.
Designer Huang Chao Yan is based in Beijing. Her collection, realized by Diarough N.V. takes elements inspired by Chinese culture. Awards show reporter Kiyra Lynn from "The New Music Buzz", couldn't wait to deliver her interview wearing the necklace that symbolizes "Double Happiness".
Jewelry manufacturer Kama Schachter realized the visions of designer Zhong Hua. Zoe Kravitz's ("Divergent") stylist loved Zhong Hua's lace cuff bracelet, inspired by the architecture of the famed Chinese town of Suzhou. Actress Christine Bently from the television show "Ballers" looked stunning trying on the Argyle diamond studded pendant.
