ADELAIDE, AUSTRALIA -- (Marketwired) -- 03/02/14 -- Director Gracie Otto, Producer Nicole O'Donohue and Internationally acclaimed actress Greta Scacchi will be in Adelaide for the Australian premiere of the documentary film 'The Last Impresario' on Tuesday March 4 at 7pm at the Mercury Cinema. The film will open DocWeek 2014, Australia's annual Documentary Film Festival.
In her feature-length directorial debut, Australian filmmaker Gracie Otto profiles legendary socialite, Michael White. Michael White broke all the rules, a playboy, bon vivant and the man who transformed Britain's cultural scene in the 1970s.
Gracie Otto, Director said, "I am absolutely thrilled 'The Last Impresario' will screen as the opening night film for DocWeek tomorrow night. Last year we came to Adelaide to pitch our film. One year later, after an incredible team effort... it feels like we have come full circle and it's an honor to be included in the DocWeek 2014 Programme."
Michael White produced over 300 shows and movies over the last 50 years. He brought to the stage the risqué productions of Oh! Calcutta!, The Rocky Horror Show and to the screen Monty Python's The Holy Grail, as well as introducing Merce Cunningham, Pina Bausch and Yoko Ono to London audiences. He irrevocably shaped the cultural scene of 1970s London. Fondly known as 'Chalky' by his friends, Michael is now in his late seventies and still enjoys partying like there's no tomorrow. In this intimate documentary, filmmaker Gracie Otto introduces us to this larger-than-life phenomenon. Following a chance encounter with White in Cannes 2010, Gracie Otto has created an intriguing tribute to a truly fascinating entertainment figure with a remarkable cultural legacy.
'The Last Impresario' is a fast and entertaining documentary with a stellar cast including; Greta Scacchie, Yoko Ono, Anna Wintour, Kate Moss, Naomi Watts, Barry Humphries, John Cleese, Bill Oddie, Nigel Planer, Robert Fox, Alan Yentob, Rachel Ward, Jim Sharman, Brian Thomson, Richard O'Brien, Nell Campbell, Patricia Quinn, Lyndall Hobbs, Sarah Hillsdon, Joshua White, Peter Richardson, John Waters, Alan Finkelstein, Lorne Michaels, Lou Adler, Sabrina Guinness, Wallace Shawn, Tracy Tynan, Andre Gregory, Jean Pigozzi and of course the man himself Michael White.

As-a-service models offer huge opportunities, but also complicate security. It may seem that the easiest way to migrate to a new architectural model is to let others, experts in their field, do the work. This has given rise to many as-a-service models throughout the industry and across the entire technology stack, from software to infrastructure. While this has unlocked huge opportunities to accelerate the deployment of new capabilities or increase economic efficiencies within an organization, i...

DevOps has often been described in terms of CAMS: Culture, Automation, Measuring, Sharing. While we’ve seen a lot of focus on the “A” and even on the “M”, there are very few examples of why the “C" is equally important in the DevOps equation. In her session at @DevOps Summit, Lori MacVittie, of F5 Networks, will explore HTTP/1 and HTTP/2 along with Microservices to illustrate why a collaborative culture between Dev, Ops, and the Network is critical to ensuring success.
