Condusiv Technologies Releases V-locity Version 5 Acceleration Software for up to 2 or 3 Times Performance Gains in Virtual, Physical and Cloud Environments - no Additional Hardware Required

- New V-locity version 5 acceleration software gives customers central command and control for accelerating I/O intensive applications across the largest and most complex virtual, physical and cloud environments. V-locity is now bundled with an enterprise-class management console that auto-detects assets across multiple locations, simplifies installation by deploying to thousands of virtual or physical servers in just five clicks, and combines I/O performance management that both validates V-locity performance and provides ongoing I/O performance management via detailed reports and alerts for visibility into key application performance metrics from virtual server to storage. Organizations can now easily quantify the business value of V-locity and extend the efficiency of existing CAPEX investments, giving CIOs more control over their budget without adding any additional server or storage hardware.

V-locity® version 5 I/O reduction and caching software that boosts application performance from virtual or physical server to storage without additional hardware.  V-locity version 5 delivers midsize to large enterprise customers up to 2 or 3 times performance gains on their most I/O intensive applications, allowing them to achieve far more productivity from the infrastructure they already have.

According to IDC, data has exploded with 75X growth of files over ten years.  At Symposium 2013, Gartner expected to see 25X I/O growth every two years. With hardware performance growing an optimistic 8X over ten years, it's clear that hardware is not cost efficiently keeping up with the growth of I/O as organizations quickly find themselves in an unsustainable business model of buying more and more server and storage hardware for increased performance. This growing performance chasm has created a conundrum for organizations on how they will bridge this challenge without losing more and more of their IT budget to hardware in a Software Defined Everything World.

In the latest "On the Radar" technology brief from leading analyst firm, Ovum, it was stated, "Ovum believes V-locity may be one of the most innovative technologies in 2014 that can enable CIOs to improve productivity while reducing ongoing storage costs."

V-locity version 5 is an I/O optimization software solution that increases application performance in virtual, physical and cloud environments by 50% or more, with many customers seeing 2 to 3 times performance gain without the cost of additional hardware.
