Black Diamond Video (BDV), a leading manufacturer and integrator of medical video technology, today announced it appointed Devon Bream as Vice President of Global Medical Sales and Marketing.
Bream will lead Black Diamond Video’s Medical Sales Division and drive revenue growth for Black Diamond Video’s medical video integration solutions, including the Integrated Digital Surgical Suite (IDSS) and BDV Clarity.
“Recruiting a seasoned medical industry executive like Devon Bream positions Black Diamond Video to aggressively market our IDSS and launch some exciting new products and features,” said Edward Priest, Founder and CEO of Black Diamond Video. “We’re confident that Devon’s results-oriented approach and strong background in executing corporate strategy will lead us to continued success.”
Bream brings over 23 years of medical industry experience to his position at Black Diamond Video. Bream was previously Executive Director of Marketing and Sales at Karl Storz Endoscopy, where he spearheaded global OR integration sales. Before his role at Karl Storz, Bream was Director of Sales and Marketing at STERIS Corporation. Throughout his career, Bream built strong sales teams and propelled company growth—skills he intends to put to use at Black Diamond Video.
“It has been exciting to watch Black Diamond Video over the last few years as demand for its integrated OR technology stormed the market,” said Bream. “I’m confident that as word of Black Diamond Video continues to spread, we’ll see more and more hospitals upgrading to BDV solutions. I’m looking forward to leading that charge.”
Bream has a master’s degree in Healthcare Administration and is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives.
