ARKON® introduces new model SM679 Slim-Grip® Ultra™ Flat Surface Sticky Suction Mount for car or truck windshields, dashboards, desks, and other smooth or slightly textured surfaces. It’s an extraordinarily versatile universal smartphone, phablet, and midsize tablet mount solution that performs exceptionally well in both hot and cold climates.

Slim-Grip Ultra Universal Smartphone & Midsize Tablet Holder
Slim-Grip Ultra’s stylishly designed spring-loaded holder securely grips smartphones and phablets (up to 6.75” tall) and midsize (7”-8”) tablets via an adjustable support system at the top and bottom of the holder. This unique design enables one-handed operation and keeps side buttons and ports unobstructed. The universal fit even accommodates mobile devices having standard or ruggedized protective cases or skins attached.
Sticky Suction Deluxe Windshield or Dashboard Mount
Arkon’s sticky suction mount uses a powerful combination of polyurethane gel and suction to provide maximum surface bond. The mount uses a one-touch lever to adhere to the car’s windshield, dashboard, or other flat surfaces, such as a desk, countertop, or table. While powerfully strong, the sticky suction mount is also easily removable and reusable. The vertically adjustable arm of the suction mount also rotates 360 degrees, providing for a maximum number of viewing options.
“Slim-Grip Ultra accommodates all sizes of smartphones and midsize tablets and provides consumers with the kind of versatility and reliability that they’ve been asking for,” says Aaron Roth, Arkon’s VP of Sales and Marketing. Combining the Slim-Grip Ultra Holder with a sticky suction mount base provides superior performance that has already made this product an award winner. Last month, Arkon’s Model SM679 was named Best Smartphone Holder by Auto Express Magazine in its 2014 Group Test.

WebRTC sits at the intersection between VoIP and the Web. As such, it poses some interesting challenges for those developing services on top of it, but also for those who need to test and monitor these services. In his session at WebRTC Summit, Tsahi Levent-Levi, co-founder of testRTC, reviewed the various challenges posed by WebRTC when it comes to testing and monitoring and on ways to overcome them.
