Today, TSL – the largest single-profession social network in the world, with 3.3 million registered teachers and hundreds of thousands of pieces of education content – announced the acquisition of Bay-Area based Wikispaces, creator of some of the most widely used online collaboration tools in the U.S. education sector. The combined platforms will support 1.4 million registered K-12 teachers in the U.S. Together, the two platforms create the world’s largest online professional network within the world’s largest profession. This is the first acquisition undertaken by TSL since it was acquired by TPG Capital in the biggest education deal of last year.

In addition to all the benefits, IoT is also bringing new kind of customer experience challenges - cars that unlock themselves, thermostats turning houses into saunas and baby video monitors broadcasting over the internet. This list can only increase because while IoT services should be intuitive and simple to use, the delivery ecosystem is a myriad of potential problems as IoT explodes complexity.
