Wyndham Jade Names Bryan A. Scott President of Its Convention Division

PLANO, TX -- (Marketwired) -- 03/04/14 -- Wyndham Jade has promoted Bryan A. Scott from Chief Strategy Officer to President of the Company's Convention Division. In his new role, Mr. Scott will continue to sit on the Company's senior leadership team and influence the strategic direction of the organization, while taking an even greater role in management oversight and innovation of new housing, registration, and meeting offerings.

Prior to Wyndham Jade, Mr. Scott was the President and CEO of Bridgepoint Partners, which managed a portfolio of event, medical and technology-related companies. Mr. Scott is a Wharton Business School alumnus and he completed a Master of Science degree from the University of Texas at San Antonio.

In addition, he is a member of the International Association of Exhibitions and Events (IAEE), the Society of Independent Show Organizers (SISO), Center for Exhibition of Industry Research (CEIR), and the Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA).
