Aventus Adds a Flexible, Cloud-Based Live Streaming Service to Axinom's OTT Portfolio for Content Owners and Distributors

LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM -- (Marketwired) -- 03/05/14 -- iStreamPlanet, the leader in live, and Axinom, a leading digital solutions provider in Europe and North America, today announced a partnership to integrate iStreamPlanet's Aventus service into the Axinom video management system to provide multiscreen, live event and live linear streaming services for content owners, aggregators, and distributors.

Axinom's integration of Aventus will add live linear streaming to their current cloud-based OTT portfolio that includes Axinom CMS, DRM, analytics, advertising, apps, and client SDKs. Aventus addresses the challenges of streaming live events and live linear channels online to multiple platforms and devices by offering the flexibility, scalability and reliability of a cloud-based solution. Aventus includes scheduling, quality control, media processing, content protection, and publishing to any number of designated publish locations including the Axinom OTT products.
