Globoforce Honoured as One of the Best Workplaces in Ireland

Announced at an awards ceremony held at the DoubleTree by Hilton on Wednesday 26th February, Globoforce was ranked number 3 in Ireland in the medium-sized workplace category. Globoforce’s position was solidified due to high scores and positive comments from the Great Places to Work survey of its employees. The company’s overall scores improved in all nine of the Great Places to Work practice areas.

The Great Place to Work Institute assesses the policies and practices in place in organisations under nine key areas: inspiring, speaking, listening, caring, developing, thanking, hiring, celebrating and sharing. These practices are benchmarked against other organisations in that country. The second key component of the assessment is an anonymous ‘Trust Index survey’ that gathers the perceptions of employees under five dimensions: credibility, respect, fairness, pride and camaraderie. Finally, there is an in-depth qualitative analysis of open ended comments from employees.

Employee findings from Globoforce’s survey results include:

  • 98 percent say the company is a friendly place to work
  • 98 percent report the company celebrates special events
  • 97 percent feel welcome upon joining.
  • 91 percent feel pride in what they do

This award comes shortly after Globoforce was named a national Great Place to Work in the United States, a list compiled in association with FORTUNE Magazine.
