LOVELAND, Colo., March 5, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Canyon Bakehouse has received a 2014 "Cleanest Packaged Food Award" from Prevention Magazine for its Deli Rye Style gluten free bread. Made with 100 percent whole grains, the Deli Rye bread brings traditional rye bread flavor and caraway seeds to real, healthy bread – minus the gluten. The winning products are selected by food experts and Prevention's editors and were required to comply with Prevention's strict criteria that they be low in calories, saturated fat, sodium, added sugar, artificial sweeteners and made with only clean ingredients – all without compromising on taste or texture.
"We're thrilled and honored to be recognized by Prevention Magazine as a winner this year," said Christi Skow, co-founder and co-owner of Canyon Bakehouse, and mother of three. "It's our mission to help everyone love bread again, for people with gluten sensitivities as well as people looking for clean, healthy bread. We make our breads with many of the ingredients you'd find in your own pantry – and ingredients you can pronounce – so it's refreshing to be able to eat bread and not feel sick or guilty."
Each slice of the Deli Rye Style bread contains 2g of protein, 2g of fiber and contains only 70 calories. Additionally, all Canyon Bakehouse breads are Certified Gluten Free and are free from other allergens such as dairy, soy, nuts and casein. Other products include: 7-Grain, Cinnamon Raisin, Mountain White, Rosemary & Thyme Focaccia, Hamburger and Hotdog Buns, and Cranberry Crunch Muffins.
The 2014 Prevention "Cleanest Packaged Food Award" winners will be featured in the March issue of the publication. For more information about Canyon Bakehouse, visit www.canyonglutenfree.com and become a fan on Facebook: www.facebook.com/canyonglutenfree.

Mobile messaging has been a popular communication channel for more than 20 years. Finnish engineer Matti Makkonen invented the idea for SMS (Short Message Service) in 1984, making his vision a reality on December 3, 1992 by sending the first message ("Happy Christmas") from a PC to a cell phone. Since then, the technology has evolved immensely, from both a technology standpoint, and in our everyday uses for it. Originally used for person-to-person (P2P) communication, i.e., Sally sends a text...
