The global dental equipment market is segmented into two categories viz. market by products and market by geography. The global market by product types is further classified into six categories namely dental radiology equipment, dental lasers, systems and parts, laboratory machines, hygiene maintenance devices and other equipment. Dental radiology equipment consists of two sub-types i.e. intra-oral equipment and extra-oral equipment. The dental laser market on is further segregated the basis of technology into three types viz. diode lasers, carbon dioxide lasers and yttrium aluminum garnet lasers. Systems and parts are enumerated as instrument delivery systems, vacuums and compressors, cone beam CT systems, cast machines, furnace and ovens, electrosurgical equipment, CAD/CAM and others. The various laboratory machines described in the report are ceramic furnaces, hydraulic press, electronic waxer, suction units and micro motors. The hygiene maintenance devices include sterilizers, air purification & filters and hypodermic needle incinerators.
