Seapine Software, a leading provider of process-centric product development solutions, will present a webinar to discuss the two fundamental practices that should be part of every team's risk management process: failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA) and root cause analysis (RCA). Conducted by Anthony Washington, Life Sciences Solution Specialist for Seapine, the 60-minute webinar will take place Wednesday, March 26, at 1 p.m. Eastern.
Risk management is critical throughout the product development cycle, helping to increase project predictability and improve product quality by eliminating defects early in the development cycle. As such, risk management needs to be an ongoing process rather than a one-time activity in order to be effective.
Seapine’s webinar addresses the inevitability that defects will make it into the product and cause deviations from the expected results. Washington will discuss how to collect and document the information necessary to carry out effective risk management.
He will also detail how to conduct FMEA to mitigate risks during design, and how to use RCA to close the loop with preventive actions.
