ROCKFORD, Ill., March 6, 2014 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- Prescient™ Audio, developer of award-winning ThinDriver™ Technology, the most radical invention in loudspeaker design technology in 90 years, launched a Kickstarter Campaign for its new AudioCase™for smartphone owners. AudioCase™ will deliver dynamic, high-quality, high volume audio without the use of external speakers. It employs Mini ThinDriver™ Technology to offer truly revolutionary performance in a heretofore impossibly thin package.
Prescient's Kickstarter Campaign will fund commercial development and tooling of the AudioCase, including compatibility with Apple's iPhone 5/5s and Samsung Galaxy S4.
"Crowdfunding is the perfect way for a cutting-edge company like ours to launch this newest product," said Prescient founder and CEO Paul Niedermann. The Prescient AudioCase will bring the highest quality audio possible to people who care about smartphone sound - without awkward external speakers. Literally, the Prescient AudioCase puts high performance audio in the hands of the people. So, we are giving the people an opportunity to lend their hands to its final manufacture."
In conjunction with Product Development Technologies, Inc. (PDT), a global, full-service product development firm, Prescient Audio has designed one of the most promising, innovative pieces of audio technology for smartphones. An $89 Kickstarter Campaign pledge allows individuals to be among the first to own the Prescient AudioCase, a smartphone case featuring both TrueVoice and ThinDriver™ technology to enable high quality, high-volume audio. Kickstarter backing affords a significant discount to the planned retail price of $149.

About ThinDriver™ Technology
The technology that enables such high quality audio in such a thin package began with the most radical loudspeaker design in 90 years: Prescient's ThinDriver™ TD-12, a 12 inch subwoofer. The high-performance, 1000-watt loudspeaker boasts a brilliant repositioning of the components from behind the loudspeaker to its perimeter, resulting in a shockingly thin mounted depth of just 2.25 inches, the shallowest in the world. The superior sound quality of the ThinDriver TD-12 is turning the industry on its ear ; the product was named as an International CES Innovations 2014 Design and Engineering Awards Honoree.
ThinDriver Technology has now been dramatically scaled down into a Mini ThinDriver™ to be integrated into the Prescient AudioCase, with an active surface area ten times greater than current smartphone speakers, making the first fully integrated audio case for the iPhone 5/5s and Samsung Galaxy S4 with mind-blowing sound quality and volume.

It's easy to assume that your app will run on a fast and reliable network. The reality for your app's users, though, is often a slow, unreliable network with spotty coverage. What happens when the network doesn't work, or when the device is in airplane mode? You get unhappy, frustrated users. An offline-first app is an app that works, without error, when there is no network connection.

As someone who has been dedicated to automation and Application Release Automation (ARA) technology for almost six years now, one of the most common questions I get asked regards Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS). Specifically, people want to know whether release automation is still needed when a PaaS is in place, and why. Isn't that what a PaaS provides? A solution to the deployment and runtime challenges of an application? Why would anyone using a PaaS then need an automation engine with workflow ...
