Artisanal Brands, Inc. Announces New Regional and National Foodservice Marketing Programs and Adds www.invino.com to Its New Wine Partners Program

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwired - March 07, 2014) -  Artisanal Brands, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: AHFP) today announced that it has signed a marketing agreement with Debragga & Spitler a leading purveyor of premium aged beef products to the foodservice and retailer sectors in the New York Tri-State region. The company is also embarking on a new national web-based ordering program with Sysco's Chef Ex program -- a service that makes premium food products available to over 4 million chefs nationally. Artisanal will sell portion-controlled, pre-selected collections of cheeses to simplify ordering time for banquet and menu offerings and reduce waste in the increasingly cost-sensitive foodservice business. The Company is also increasing the expansion of online wine retailers utilizing the Artisanal CheeseClock® pairing system.

Daniel W. Dowe, President and Chief Executive Officer of Artisanal, said, "Our marketing partnership with DeBragga is much more dynamic than past distribution agreements. We will be marketing Artisanal Premium Cheeses to the foodservice and retail outlets that demand the highest quality food products which is they why they are serviced by DeBragga. A chef or store manager that requires DeBragga quality is the same customer that will want our premium and unique cheeses."

Danielle Westfall, Founder and Chief Marketing Officer of www.invino.com the first national wine retailer to partner to go live with Artisanal's CheeseClock® program, stated, "We're excited to partner with Artisanal to help our Members have immediate access to the highest quality cheeses served by chefs across the country, but with the unique pairing advice that comes with a click via Artisanal's CheeseClock™ Cheese & Wine pairing tool. When we saw the Artisanal CheeseClock® we recognized it as the perfect starting point to explore the world of cheese that marry beautifully to our daily, curated wine selections."

The recent upgrades to its proprietary CheeseClock® Cheese & Wine pairing program now make it easier for online wine retailers to install the program and provide consumers with a digital Fromager Service that links consumers to specific product pages at www.artisanalcheese.com based on the wines they purchased.

Mobile, social, Big Data, and cloud have fundamentally changed the way we live. “Anytime, anywhere” access to data and information is no longer a luxury; it’s a requirement, in both our personal and professional lives. For IT organizations, this means pressure has never been greater to deliver meaningful services to the business and customers.
Digital Transformation is the ultimate goal of cloud computing and related initiatives. The phrase is certainly not a precise one, and as subject to hand-waving and distortion as any high-falutin' terminology in the world of information technology. Yet it is an excellent choice of words to describe what enterprise IT—and by extension, organizations in general—should be working to achieve. Digital Transformation means: handling all the data types being found and created in the organizat...

Container technology is sending shock waves through the world of cloud computing.
