Call for Entries to A' Web Design Awards 2014

The A' Web Design Awards are seeking the best web designers, developers and agencies in the world.

COMO, Italy, March 10, 2014 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- Today, A' Design Award & Competition announced the call for entries to the A' Web Design Awards which recognize outstanding talent, creativity and diligence in web design from around the world. Website owners, developers, companies and designers from all countries are invited to submit their websites to be reviewed for the A' Design Award and to appear among a selection of some of the most impressive designs from all over the world. The A' Web Design Awards will recognize excellence in websites, cloud based web applications, digital media, interactive advertising, online video, mobile applications and content.

Entries to the A' Web Design Awards will be peer reviewed and voted by a 50-person jury panel of academics, press members and design professionals. Entries will be scored on evaluation criteria such as creativity, design, coding, functionality, usability, accessibility, responsiveness and content. Designers and developers who follow a holistic approach to web design could expect to be successful in the A' Web Design Awards.

Submissions to the A' Web Design Awards could be made till March 30, 2014. Entrants are expected to upload up to five high quality screenshots as well as text that describes their work. Entrants can also submit a video or PDF file that further explains the functionality or flow of their website designs. Results of the A' Web Design Awards will be announced on April 15, 2014. Unlike other web design awards, entrants are not required to "beg for votes" since their entries will be evaluated by a grand award jury following professional guidelines. Furthermore laureates will be cordially invited and receive two complementary tickets to attend the A' Design Awards Gala-Night and Award Ceremony in Italy where they will be given their award certificates, design excellence trophies and annual yearbook of best designs. Entrants who would not be able to attend the gala-night will have the possibility to order their winners' kits shipped to their addresses.

There will be 5 different distinctions: Platinum, Gold, Silver, Bronze and Iron. In addition to the 3d printed award trophy, certificate in metal frame, hardcover print edition of yearbook and free gala-invitation, award winning works will also be presented in an exhibition in Italy. Furthermore each award winner will be eligible for a PR campaign that includes translation of award winning project description to more than twenty languages, as well as press release preparation and distribution to tens of thousands of press members and editors worldwide.
