Country Music's Biggest Superstars Kick up Their Boots in Las Vegas, April 3-7 for "The Week Vegas Goes Country®"

The Entertainment Capital of the World hosts a non-stop country party for the ACM Awards

LAS VEGAS, March 11, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- The biggest names in country music will bring the party to Las Vegas April 3-7 for a packed lineup of entertainment, music and more for "The Week Vegas Goes Country®." Fans can experience a fun-filled weekend full of exclusive parties, celebrity meet-and-greets and concerts in the days leading up to the 49th Annual Academy of Country Music (ACM) Awards, which will be broadcast live on CBS from the MGM Grand Garden Arena at 5 p.m. PDT April 6. Country superstars Blake Shelton and Luke Bryan return to host the ACM Awards for the second year to honor the best and brightest talent in country music.

The Fourth Annual ACM Fan Jam, headlined by country-pop duo Florida Georgia Line, will take place April 6 at Mandalay Bay Events Center. This live remote location gives country music super-fans the ultimate experience as they watch special live performances happening throughout the ACM Awards broadcast. See Florida Georgia Line and others perform today's hottest country hits, and revel in the festivities after the awards show ends. Limited tickets are still available for Fan Jam.

The Entertainment Capital of the World kicks-off a series of country music concert events at 7 p.m. on April 3 with 95.5 The Bull's Sixth Annual All-Star Guitar Pull at Red Rock Resort & Casino. This unique charity concert will have performances from Gary Allan, Sheryl Crow, Kacey Musgraves, Thomas Rhett, Kellie Pickler, Parmalee, Dustin Lynch and Lindsay Ell. Proceeds from the event will benefit St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

Country music gives back at the Second Annual ACM Party for a Cause. It's the first special event to be held at The LINQ, and is presented by ACM Lifting Lives® and Big Machine Label Group. Proceeds from the event will benefit Outnumber Hunger and several military philanthropies. Country sensations Rascal Flatts and Keith Urban co-headline the two-day event, with supporting performances from Thomas Rhett, The Cadillac Three, Jerrod Niemann, Joe Nichols, Chris Young and the three final nominees for ACM New Artist of the Year, Brett Eldredge, Justin Moore and Kip Moore.

Fans can salute our armed forces during ACM Presents: An All-Star Salute to the Troops, April 7 at MGM Grand Hotel & Casino. Some of the biggest names to grace country music, including Merle Haggard, George Strait, Carrie Underwood, Florida Georgia Line, Lady Antebellum and The Band Perry will perform during the tribute that will be broadcast May 20 on CBS.

For those who just can't get enough country music, Las Vegas delivers a variety of additional concerts throughout "The Week Vegas Goes Country®." Maggie Rose, the voice behind the hit singles "I Ain't Your Mama," is performing at 8 p.m. on April 4 at Silverton Casino Hotel. Club Madrid at Sunset Station welcomes Ty Herndon at 7 p.m. on April 5. Live Nation Presents Blackberry Smoke – Fire in the Hole Tour 2014 which will take place at 8 p.m. on April 5 at the House of Blues at Mandalay Bay Hotel & Casino.

Country roads lead to Las Vegas all year long with unforgettable nights at local clubs, bars and venues. Stoney's Rockin' Country at Town Square is the largest country nightclub in Las Vegas, offering nightly line-dance lessons. Country fans can also kick up their boots at Gilley's Saloon inside Treasure Island Hotel & Casino, PBR Rock Bar at the Miracle Mile Shops inside Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino and Toby Keith's I Love This Bar & Grill at Harrah's Las Vegas.

Fans can also rub elbows with the biggest country stars with a trip to Madame Tussauds Las Vegas at The Venetian. Get your picture taken with country superstar Tim McGraw and dozens of other celebrities.

Start your engines and take a real NASCAR stock car for a test drive at the Richard Petty Driving Experience at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway April 4-6. Your adrenaline will be pumping after three laps on the famous tri-oval track.
