EDMONTON, ALBERTA -- (Marketwired) -- 03/11/14 -- Serenic Corporation (TSX VENTURE: SER), ("Serenic" or the "Corporation"), a leading publisher of financial management and business operations software for nonprofits, international non-governmental organizations (NGOs) and the public sector, announced today that German-based knk Group has joined Serenic's Partner Channel.
Serenic and knk Group's U.S. operation, knk Software, will package their respective products - Serenic Navigator Accounting Solutions and knkPublishing - for customers who operate in the publishing and media industries and require nonprofit financial software. The knk Group has been working with Serenic on joint projects for many years, including its first customer deployment to the U.S. Naval Institute Press in 2007.
"This relationship extends our product line into markets that we previously were unable to reach," said President of knk Group Knut Nicholas Krause. "It enables knk to deliver the nonprofit industry's leading financial software, Serenic Navigator, to knk's customers who require a fund accounting solution."
knkPublishing is the only Microsoft Dynamics certified software for publishing houses worldwide - providing planning, editing, advertising, paid content, customer relationship management (CRM), online and offline subscriptions, circulations, memberships, events management, and royalty payments.
"Welcoming knk to our Global Partner Network demonstrates both companies' ongoing commitment to meeting the needs of publishers who operate as nonprofit organizations," said Serenic President and CEO Randy Keith. "With its solution deployed at more than 150 publishing and media companies worldwide, knk brings an impressive history in the publishing software market with a great understanding of customers' business requirements."
