The Rentabiliweb Group Board of Directors has unanimously voted to appoint Georges Pauget as an Independent Director. His term of office will take effect following ratification by the Annual General Meeting to be held on 7 April 2014. Georges Pauget will also sit on the Rentabiliweb Group Audit and Remuneration Committees.
Georges Pauget is a former Chairman of the FBF (French Banking Federation) and of Finance Innovation, the Paris financial services cluster. He is currently the Honorary Chairman of LCL, the Chairman of the OIFD (International Observatory of Sustainable Finance) and heads the Économie-Finance et Stratégie corporation, the Institut pour l'Éducation Financière du Public and the Club des Dirigeants de la Banque et de la Finance. He is a Joint Scientific Director of the Amundi Chair in Asset Management at the Dauphine Foundation.
For many years, Georges Pauget was the CEO of Crédit Agricole and the Chairman of Crédit Lyonnais (now LCL) and Credit Agricole CIB.
Georges Pauget is a Doctor of Economic Sciences, teaches at the Institut d'Études Politiques in Paris and is a Visiting Professor at the Beijing University. He is also the author of the report on the future of means of payment that the French government commissioned in 2012.

A critical component of any IoT project is what to do with all the data being generated.
