Afina-Westcon Partners with Silver Peak for the Iberian Market

Afina-Westcon Data Center Solutions, a Westcon Group company specializing in data center infrastructure and virtualization solutions, has announced a partnership with Silver Peak to distribute its software-defined WAN optimization solutions in Spain and Portugal. Afina-Westcon will offer its partners Silver Peak’s comprehensive portfolio of WAN optimization solutions to solve bandwidth, distance and quality challenges when extending enterprise applications over a wide area network.

Silver Peak enables customers to move more data, over longer distances, and in less time. By adding Silver Peak to the Data Center Solutions portfolio, Afina-Westcon partners are able to provide their customers with improved performance, security and reliability for business applications like data replication, backups, file transfers, and real-time applications.

Silver Peak adds Afina-Westcon to its distribution channel to further develop, strengthen and expand the adoption of its WAN optimization solutions in Iberia. The addition of Afina-Westcon will also help Silver Peak strengthen its WAN optimization leadership position in the Iberian market, driving new business opportunities for both the enterprise and mid-market.

With Silver Peak, companies can achieve the following:

  • Backup and recover more data to off-site locations
