Discount Disneyland Tickets Announced By Get Away Today for 2014

Get Away Today, a travel agency specializing in travel to Disneyland, has announced the availability of Disneyland travel packages. These packages include discount Disneyland tickets at rates that are significantly reduced from the ticket booth prices.

ANAHEIM, Calif., March 13, 2014 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- Get Away Today has announced the introduction of a wide variety of travel packages that include discount Disneyland tickets. The travel agency is known throughout the industry for their Disneyland packages, something the company acknowledges is a "specialty."

"We have been in the travel business for many years," said Chuck Smith of Get Away Today. "In that time, we have purposely focused on developing a specialty in Disneyland packages. It has long been our belief that Disneyland offers something special for every traveler, making it an ideal destination for many of our clients."

Advance Ticket Options Yield Bigger Savings Over the Ticket Booth

According to Smith, one of the more common mistakes first-time Disneyland visitors make is to just show up at the park to buy tickets for entry. Smith has crunched the numbers, finding that ticket booth customers pay up to $50 more than those who buy their tickets in advance.

"This is one of the reasons that we create travel packages that include discount Disneyland tickets," said Smith. "We are very aware of the prices that uneducated customers will end up paying at the booth. We want to help our clients avoid paying too much for tickets, especially when they do not have to."

Get Away Today Urges Caution When Buying Tickets

One issue that has caught the attention of Get Away Today is the preponderance of discount Disneyland tickets available through online auctions. Many of these auctions are selling tickets that are invalid, resulting in many travelers paying even more for tickets than they should.

"We have been seeing this more and more," said Smith, referring to the online auctions. "These auctions are selling tickets that are non-transferable. For example, someone who may have used two days of a five-day pass will try to sell the remaining three days of the pass at a discounted rate. While it seems like a good deal to the buyer, these tickets cannot be used at all. It is really a shame that this is going on."

Smith has been trying to educate his clients on issues such as this. The best course of action, according to Smith, is to work with a company that is well-versed in all of the many details that go into planning the ideal Disneyland vacation.

With a Variety of Package Options, Get Away Today Meets the Needs of Every Client

As a company that specializes in travel packages to the Disneyland Resort, Get Away today has a package that is suitable for any traveler and their group. The packages include a number of different pass options, all available at a discounted rate, especially when compared to the ticket booth prices.

"We really want to make Disneyland accessible to all travelers," said Smith. "It is a truly wonderful experience for travelers, and we are very happy that we can help both first-timers and veterans find a package that is both ideal and affordable."
