ShopRunner Sprints Out of the Gates in 2014 with New Retailers and Tremendous Growth

As online shoppers increasingly choose convenient shopping experiences from trustworthy brands, ShopRunner, a members-only service that offers unique benefits from prominent retailers, is experiencing rapid growth from consumers and retailers alike.

With the expansion of its partnership with American Express in Q4 2013, ShopRunner has grown its member base of active online shoppers by more than 100 percent over the prior year. These shoppers value the convenience of free 2-day shipping from trusted retailers and are consolidating their spending with retailers that are part of ShopRunner’s network. ShopRunner gross merchandise sales nearly doubled during the holiday period, and same store sales increased by over 50 percent year-over-year; substantially more than the eCommerce industry growth.

As a result of this substantial growth, more high quality retailers are turning to ShopRunner to increase sales and build loyalty with ShopRunner’s unique member base. In the first quarter of 2014 alone, 15 new retailers have signed up to join ShopRunner including: Cole Haan, Moosejaw, Spanx, Sole Society, TaylorMade and many more.
