SAN FRANCISCO, March 13, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- OneTaste's Orgasmic Meditation Xperience (or OMX) is the world's largest annual conference on Orgasm with over one thousand people attending this year. Attendees will enjoy three days of keynote speeches by medical doctors and experts in biophysics, psychology, social science, sex and relationships - as well as live entertainment, educational displays and integrative practices.
This year's theme is "flow," the optimal state of human potential and the power of orgasm to access it. The line-up includes Neil Strauss, Naomi Wolf, Gabrielle Anwar, Dr. Reef Karim, Steven Kotler, Jenny Wade, Ulysses Slaughter, Dr. Sara Gottfried, and more.
"Each presenter at the OMX speaks to a different facet of sex and flow. Together we're all pointed to the same phenomena emerging - a new way of working, sexing and relating that reveals and powers our full human potential" Nicole Daedone, OneTaste Founder and Author of Slow Sex: the Art and Craft of Female Orgasm.
The OMX is inspired by the fifteen minute practice taught by OneTaste called Orgasmic Meditation or OM. OM has been featured in media outlets and events such as Cosmopolitan, the New York Times, Playboy, Gawker, VICE, XOJane, TEDxSF and South By South West.
"Flow is a state of complete absorption is which one discovers personal capacity beyond what was previously believed possible. The practice of OM cultivates our ability to enter and sustain those states. It's an entry point to flow," Nicole Daedone.
Steven Kotler, author of 'the Rise of Superman,' will outline the fundamental principles of "flow." Rolling Stone contributing editor, Neil Strauss, known for his best-selling book 'The Game,' will talk about "flow" in evolving relationships. Naomi Wolf author of 'The Beauty Myth' and 'Vagina: A New Biography' will discuss the social evolution of women and how sexual connection is a fundamental component of modern feminism.
"As a social critic I see the people at OneTaste relating very differently, much more intuitively. It is definitely a safe woman-respecting space in which men contribute a sense of reverence for the feminine." - Naomi Wolf
Award-winning actress Catherine Oxenberg, best known for her role as Amanda Carrington on the 1980s prime time soap opera Dynasty, and Gabrielle Anwar known for her role as Margaret Tudor on The Tudors, for dancing the tango with Al Pacino in Scent of a Woman, and for her role as Fiona Glenanne on USA's Burn Notice will present parts of "Sexology", their current documentary project, in which OneTaste founder Nicole Daedone is featured.
"Nicole Daedone is a modern day frontierswoman: A visionary in the liberation of sexuality - her work fits perfectly in our groundbreaking "Sexology" documentary, exploring the emerging feminine." - Gabrielle Anwar
Dr. Reef Karim, will also speak at the conference. He's made multiple guest appearances on television shows including: Oprah, Dr. Phil, Chelsea Lately, Dateline, 20-20, Good Morning America and many others. For his work in advocacy, television and film, Reef Karim was voted one of People Magazine's Sexiest Men Alive.
"As a psychiatrist, I look for ways not only to help people overcome pathology, but to take their mental health and overall well-being from good to excellent. OM helps strengthen connection through experiential growth in a way we are not accustomed to. As such, it may help with focus, attention and interpersonal dynamics." – Reef Karim
All proceeds from ticket sales will go to the OneTaste Foundation, which exists to convert trauma into triumph through the practices of narrative therapy and Orgasmic Meditation. It aims to advance an innovative method of holistic reconciliation which serves to liberate both victims and perpetrators from debilitating, negative narratives. The Foundation co-fonder, Ulysses Slaughter, recently featured on Dr. Phil, will also present on the power of reconciliation for restoring flow in relationship.

The Internet of Things (IoT) promises to simplify and streamline our lives by automating routine tasks that distract us from our goals. This promise is based on the ubiquitous deployment of smart, connected devices that link everything from industrial control systems to automobiles to refrigerators. Unfortunately, comparatively few of the devices currently deployed have been developed with an eye toward security, and as the DDoS attacks of late October 2016 have demonstrated, this oversight can ...
