For the quarter, Cooper reported a 6.6% YoY rise in net sales of $405.0 million. Q1 FY 2014 net income attributable to Cooper's stockholders stood at $71.8 million or $1.47 per diluted share, compared with $74.7 million or $1.50 per diluted share in Q1 FY 2013. CooperVision continued to gain share in all geographies and modalities with silicone hydrogel products showing especially strong growth led by Biofinity®. (Varian) reported that Meridian Health of New Jersey has initiated a program to deploy TrueBeam™ technology from the Company across its network of cancer treatment clinics.
