NEW YORK, March 17, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Wellpower, Inc. (OTCQB - WPWR) is an emerging technology vendor attempting to commercialize equipment for the oil & gas industry. The company's newly licensed technology is for a device called the Wellhead Micro-Refinery Unit (MRU) deployable close to the wellhead to process raw natural gas into liquid fuels and clean power. As a result of the License Agreement, the Company is now a development stage company seeking to commence the new business of distributing MRUs in the State of Texas and from there into other geographical areas.
This business model appears to be quite promising but has not yet been validated with the demonstrated ability to generate revenue and subsequent profitable operations. The company is currently pre-revenue and although there appears to be a significant available market the technology needs to be successfully "productized" and brought to commercial revenue generating stage. The stock has received significant recent investor attention and a big spike in trading activity has followed. We believe another look by an analyst not connected to or compensated by the Company in any way is warranted.

In recent years, containers have taken the world by storm. Companies of all sizes and industries have realized the massive benefits of containers, such as unprecedented mobility, higher hardware utilization, and increased flexibility and agility; however, many containers today are non-persistent. Containers without persistence miss out on many benefits, and in many cases simply pass the responsibility of persistence onto other infrastructure, adding additional complexity.

The explosion of new web/cloud/IoT-based applications and the data they generate are transforming our world right before our eyes. In this rush to adopt these new technologies, organizations are often ignoring fundamental questions concerning who owns the data and failing to ask for permission to conduct invasive surveillance of their customers. Organizations that are not transparent about how their systems gather data telemetry without offering shared data ownership risk product rejection, regu...
