BETHESDA, Md., March 17, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- American Capital Senior Floating, Ltd. ("ACSF" or the "Company") (Nasdaq: ACSF) announced today that its Board of Directors has declared a cash dividend of $0.18 per share for the "stub" period, from the closing of the Company's initial public offering ("IPO") on January 22, 2014 through March 31, 2014. The first quarter 2014 dividend is payable on April 10, 2014 to common stockholders of record as of March 31, 2014, with an ex-dividend date of March 27, 2014.

"On January 22, 2014, ACSF raised approximately $150 million in gross proceeds from its IPO. With proceeds from borrowings under the Company's credit facility, the cost basis of ACSF's IPO investment portfolio of first and second lien floating rate loans and collateralized loan obligations has grown from $198 million to $279 million as of March 14, 2014. With the successful deployment of our capital, we expect that this will be the first of many attractive dividends for our stockholders in the years to come."
