On March 6, 2014, Ericsson announced that it will be holding its Annual General Meeting of shareholders on April 11, 2014. The meeting is scheduled at 3:00 p.m. at Stockholm Waterfront Congress Centre. Harris  Corporation  Analyst  Notes

On March 10, 2014, Harris Corporation (Harris) announced that it has received an 18-month follow-on contract from Boeing to provide Ka-band antennas for the fourth Inmarsat Global Xpress satellite. According to the Company, the Harris antennas, in orbit, will direct 89 Ka-band user spot beams to the Earth creating a unique, mobile broadband network with high-speed services for diverse applications. "The Harris antennas are important components in the Global Xpress satellite system, which is expected to provide global coverage by the end of 2014," said Bill Gattle, Vice President and General Manager of National Programs for Harris Government Communications Systems. On March 10, 2014, Infinera Corporation (Infinera) and Windstream announced that they are deploying the Infinera DTN-X platform, which features 500 Gigabit per second (Gb/s) super-channels across Windstream's long-haul express network. According to the Company, the Infinera Intelligent Transport Network enables Windstream to differentiate their services, protect their investment and lower operational expense as they scale their network. "By deploying the Infinera Intelligent Transport Network, Windstream will significantly increase the capacity of our network infrastructure to meet the needs of our customers," said Randy Nicklas, Executive Vice President of Engineering and Chief Technology Officer for Windstream. On March 12, 2014, ARRIS Group, Inc. (ARRIS) reported that Unitymedia KabelBW GmbH (Unitymedia KabelBW) has deployed the E6000 Converged Edge Router (CER) from ARRIS. ARRIS stated that the E6000 CER enables Unitymedia KabelBW to deliver 1Gbpps capacity to its customers for enhanced broadband data and entertainment services.
