Mikawaya Mochi Ice Cream has today announced the addition of two top favorite tastes and three truly authentic Asian flavors to the company's already considerable range

LOS ANGELES, March 18, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Mikawaya, the creator of Mochi Ice Cream, has today announced it will be adding five new mouthwatering flavors to its lineup. Mikawaya isn't afraid to push boundaries in terms of flavors, and the company is set to ramp things up with the introduction of five decadent new options debuting soon – Black Sesame, Cookies & Cream, Matcha Green Tea, Mint Chip and Plum Wine, bringing the company's total to 12 flavors.

"Cookies and Cream, and Mint Chip are two of the top six flavors worldwide," Mikawaya's President Joel Friedman explains. "And given the truly authentic traditional Asian nature of Plum Wine, Matcha Green Tea and Black Sesame, we felt they were perfect additions to our lineup."

For ice cream lovers who want to sample Mikawaya's delights but save some cash, the company is offering an online coupon available on mochiicecream.com, which can be used at select grocery stores, or through the company's online store.

Mikawaya understands these new flavors may be difficult for some consumers to locate, and will be providing the opportunity to purchase all five through the company's online store. For online buyers, Mikawaya is throwing an extra-sweet reward in – all cases ordered online come with a free Mikawaya Mochi Ice Cream t-shirt, so customers can show off their good tastes. Customers can also utilize the Mochi Locator to find a retailer if they're unable to locate the new flavors on their own.
