IRVINE, Calif., March 20, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- With the latest evolution of its digital magazine app available on iOS and Android devices, Entrepreneur offers a completely new and dynamic experience that connects users to curated content from its website based on their interactions with app articles and ads. Coupled with a whole new social "stream" feature, users can clip and save more of the content that matters to them, discover what's trending within the business community, and share it all more simply, easily and effortlessly.
These new features with the Entrepreneur updated app are made possible by a new partnership with MAZ, whose publishing platform powers over 700 apps across the Apple App Store, Google Play and Amazon Appstore. "It's inspiring to be working with a brand I personally identify with like Entrepreneur," says MAZ CEO, Paul Canetti. "Given their subject matter and audience, I think it's especially meaningful to support a startup like ours."
"With MAZ's capabilities, we're now able to offer an immersive experience with the Entrepreneur brand like never before," says Ryan Shea, president at Entrepreneur. "MAZ's technology makes it possible for users to navigate an editorially curated selection of content from the millions of articles, videos, infographics and slide shows we offer—and share it. The benefit is huge to the entrepreneurial community."
In-app navigational prompts alert users to additional relevant content. If the user is reading about innovation for example, selected content on those innovators and others on Entrepreneur.com will be directly available for viewing. Thanks to a unique split-screen feature, viewing is seamless. The result is the ability to navigate through all of Entrepreneur's platforms to dive deeper into topics of most interest.
Users can also cut out snippets or pages of content to save and share via their social profiles. With Entrepreneur's more than 2 million followers across social networks, this gives its audience the ultimate avenue to connect. The related "Stream" feature creates a live, crowdsourced feed of Entrepreneur content shared by the community, allowing Entrepreneur readers to participate in a localized social network right inside the app.
The benefits of these features extend to brand partners as well. Advertisers can leverage the capabilities of the different mediums to drive meaningful engagement. They can show users more at the moment they want to see it—without disrupting the experience.
