Deluxe Selects Interra’s Baton Content Verification Software

Interra Systems Inc., based in Cupertino, Calif., today announced that Deluxe has selected Interra’s Baton™ product for use in its workflow.

“We have successfully centralized and automated many workflow steps within our DL3 asset and workflow management system,” said Stephen Ferguson, Director of Technical Video Services at Deluxe. “One of our key automated workflow steps is focused on quality assurance and related content verification. Utilizing Interra Baton as one of our API web service calls, we automated many digital distribution profile and package verification processes. This has allowed us to drive speed and efficiency as well as to scale our digital distribution operations.”

“Our Baton solution allows companies to verify content across multiple stages in their file-based workflows,” said Ashish Basu from Interra Systems, Inc. “Baton is particularly suited for enterprises that opt for a high degree of automation via its API infrastructure. We hope our Baton solution will help Deluxe achieve its workflow automation goals.”

Baton is a multi-platform, automated content verification system for file-based SD, HD, and mixed workflows. Supporting a wide range of codecs and media containers, Baton ensures quality control of media content before play-out. Baton is highly flexible and can quickly be scaled for large facilities or high volumes of content. As a hardware and O/S independent solution, Baton can easily be integrated within facilities’ existing infrastructures.

When talking IoT we often focus on the devices, the sensors, the hardware itself. The new smart appliances, the new smart or self-driving cars (which are amalgamations of many ‘things'). When we are looking at the world of IoT, we should take a step back, look at the big picture. What value are these devices providing. IoT is not about the devices, its about the data consumed and generated. The devices are tools, mechanisms, conduits. This paper discusses the considerations when dealing with the...

In order to do that, you must be tolerant of failures, even in light of failures in other areas of your application. "Fly two mistakes high" is an old adage in the radio control airplane hobby. It means, fly high enough so that if you make a mistake, you can continue flying with room to still make mistakes. In his session at 18th Cloud Expo, Le...
