Broadview Networks, a leading provider of cloud-based business communications services, was chosen by Quality Services for the Autism Community (QSAC) to upgrade its communications systems with OfficeSuite®, Broadview’s award-winning, cloud-based business phone system. QSAC provides educational, habilitation and residential support, as well as recreational programs, to the residents of all five New York City boroughs.
With more than 1,000 staff members and 20 branches, QSAC was searching for a better way to unify communications among its locations. Chief Financial Officer Paul Naranjo and his team became frustrated trying to communicate between offices and maintain multiple systems. “It proved very difficult to have different equipment at each location, as none of the systems could speak to one other. Not having an integrated system was causing all kinds of problems,” said Naranjo. “If one system went down, we had no way to access that office. We needed a solution that would provide total integration among all of our sites.”
After careful consideration, Naranjo and his team chose OfficeSuite® to unite all of QSAC’s locations—not only to save time and money, but also because they needed a future-proof system. OfficeSuite® provides free software upgrades and evolves with the technology, so the system never becomes outdated. “OfficeSuite has allowed me to re-allocate my time and focus on our operations, rather than exerting so much effort on vendor equipment,” said Naranjo. “Before we implemented OfficeSuite, we were incurring extra costs for each new service agreement. Our organization is growing quickly, and now [with OfficeSuite] we can expand without having to buy additional equipment for new offices.”
Multi-site organizations like QSAC often struggle to unify their locations at an affordable price. OfficeSuite® allows businesses to take advantage of cloud-based enterprise features without start-up costs, maintenance contracts or expensive equipment to purchase. Business owners and employees can redirect calls to other offices, mobile phones and home phones with the click of a button via Broadview’s intuitive website. With OfficeSuite®, employees can use any phone at any office while maintaining their own extensions and personal preferences, including voicemail, which can be accessed anywhere at any time.
Perhaps most importantly, QSAC now has a true technology partner in Broadview Networks. “The whole team of Broadview experts became like my team—I feel so much more supported. I have been working for QSAC for 20 years, and none of our previous vendors ever gave us the level of support that we receive from Broadview,” said Naranjo. “I regularly attend IT seminars where other non-profits come together to share their problems and successes. I have already recommended Broadview, and I would be happy to do it again.”
