Product Innovation Showcase—Prior to the Macworld/iWorld Expo Hall opening to the public, all registered media are invited to attend a pre-show Innovation Showcase taking place on Wednesday, March 26 from 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. PT in the lower lobby of Moscone Center North Hall. This event provides media with a preview of almost two dozen groundbreaking and newly launched iOS and OS X apps, hardware, software and gadgets for Macs, iPhones and iPads. New this year, the Product Innovation Showcase will include products from the finalists of Macworld/iWorld and SF New Tech's 6 About to Break contest. Many of the companies taking part in the Product Innovation Showcase are early stage startups and will be launching, announcing their Kickstarter campaign or taking pre-orders of their products during Macworld/iWorld 2014. Company representatives will be on hand for demos and Q&A.
Media Reception—Registered media are also invited to a cocktail party held at Moscone Center, on Wednesday, March 26 from 5:30-7:00 p.m. in the Media Center (Room 102). This cocktail party, sponsored by Backblaze, Korus, Lantronix, MacKeeper, MacPaw, Parallels, TrueBear, VOX-Coppertino and WeCam, will give members of the media a first-look at some of the hottest new products for the Apple products marketplace.
