Staffing Industry Analysts Announce Winners at Executive Forum

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif., March 20, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Staffing Industry Analysts, the global advisor on contingent work, today named the winners of the 2014 Best Staffing Firms to Work for awards.  The winners were announced at the 23rd annual Staffing Industry Analysts' Executive Forum, being held March 18-21 at the Hilton San Diego Bayfront in San Diego, CA.

Multiple categories were included in the fifth annual program including small staffing firms with up to 50 employees; medium staffing firms with 51 to 200 employees; large staffing firms with more than 201 employees; and best staffing firms to work for – temporary and contract employees.  A new category, Best Staffing Firms to Work for – U.K., was added for 2014. The Best Staffing Firms to Work For awards were sponsored by Monster Worldwide, Inc. (NYSE: MWW).

Nearly 140 staffing firms took part in the program this year, conducted for Staffing Industry Analysts by Quantum Workplace, an independent research firm specializing in employee engagement. Internal employees at each firm were asked to complete a 40-question online survey that measured 10 key engagement categories including teamwork, trust in senior leaders, feeling valued, manager effectiveness, compensation and benefits. The survey was open to any staffing firm operating in the U.S., U.K. or Canada and was confidential and anonymous.

"The staffing industry works tirelessly to provide clients with top-quality talent which, in turn, breeds top-quality workplaces. In order to gather statistically sound results, participating companies must have reached a minimum level of employee participation, based on total number of employees. Responses from each question, of each completed survey, were compiled and evaluated. Companies were ranked in each size category according to their overall composite score. Winners were chosen based entirely on the survey results.
