The PROJECT 10™ Challenge Builds Momentum at National Success Training Event

Thousands empowered to Challenge the World with innovative tools, technologies, and stories

LOS ANGELES, March 20, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Vi's National Success Training (NST) filled a rocking basketball arena with thousands of passionate Challenge Promoters, March 14–15 in Louisville, Kentucky. The event brought together members of the Vi Community from North America and new European markets, to learn from Vi Co-Founders and top Promoters how the momentum created by PROJECT 10 is about to take another giant leap forward.

Since launching in January, the PROJECT 10 Challenge has inspired Promoters to Challenge the World... 10 lbs. at a time. The results have been incredible, with over 30,000 accepting The Challenge and over 4,000 people this year alone already being able to say "i LOST it" after having lost their first 10 lbs. After helping more than 8,000 lose their first 10 lbs. in all of 2013, the PROJECT 10 Challenge is already more than halfway to its 2013 totals*. This also means that over 130,000 meals have been donated in 2014 to PROJECT 10 Kids, as every 10 lbs. lost helps a child on their own journey to better health. The Vi Community proudly celebrates its donation to date of over 4.4 million shakes, cookies and bowls of cereal combined.

Building on the success of the PROJECT 10 Challenge, Vi Co-Founder and Chief Marketing Officer Blake Mallen launched three ground-breaking innovations to help even more people Challenge the World, and have success achieving their Challenge goals. First was the new 'I Challenge You' social tool, part of the company's challenge.com online community. This fun and engaging tool allows anyone to challenge a friend to join them in losing their first 10 lbs. on PROJECT 10 which is integrated seamlessly with Facebook to create a social shareable image.

To help Customers achieve their Challenge goals, Mallen debuted a brand new Challenge Mobile application that is now available for free to all Customers and Promoters who accept The Challenge. "When someone joins the Challenge, we want them to know they have an entire community behind them," said Mallen. "Challenge Mobile now empowers hundreds of thousands of Customers to connect, collaborate and support each other on their Challenge goals."

Finally, a new mobile personal growth and development platform was added to all Promoters' Vi-Net Pro applications. "We have so many ambitious Promoters with a burning desire to find success. I wanted them to be able to learn from the best of the best, at whatever time and place they prefer. This new platform puts everything Promoters need to learn right in the palm of their hands." The application also features a fully-digital multimedia version of the company's Vi-LIFE Magazine, offering Promoters the opportunity to experience inspiring stories from the Vi Community across all forms of media.

The new Body by Vi Champions were also revealed on stage. Out of over 1,000 entries and 260,000 votes, 100 Regional Champions were recognized. Winners in the Weight-Loss, Active/Fitness and Vi Model categories took home $5,000 cash prizes, participated in a professional photo shoot and more*.

Top Promoters also enjoyed the spotlight with industry veteran, 2-Star Ambassador C. Anthony Harris, 3-Star Ambassadors Jason & Amber Silverthorn, and Vi 2013 MVP (Most Valuable Promoter) Award Winners, Ernest & Sherita Ross. They joined new members of Vi's income pendant club, highlighted by top earners, Nick & Ashley Sarnicola. In all, Vi's $100,000 and above income earners have now surpassed $200 million in career earnings*.
