SAN MATEO, Calif., March 20, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- SyncHR, a provider of fully integrated HR, Benefits and Payroll software, announced today that Bearence Management Group, an industry-leading provider of insurance and financial strategies, has selected syncHR for its internal human resources system.
Founded in 2005, Bearence provides exceptional services to its colleagues, focusing on risk, investments, communications, consulting and outsourcing. With just under 100 employees, the company, like many others, was looking for a single system solution to meet their needs. With syncHR, Bearence will move from separate HRIS and Payroll systems onto syncHR's cloud-based, fully integrated system.
About the News
Prior to working with syncHR, Bearence was operating on multiple systems with no integration. This meant double-entry for all actions and changes, creating an extremely inefficient work environment for even the simplest tasks. Dealing with more than one system also meant the potential for errors over time. Bearence's goal is to develop and utilize one internal system with syncHR that will accommodate their HR, Benefits and Payroll needs.
In addition, Bearence will benefit from utilizing syncHR's patented Time Relational Database. The brokerage firm will be able to access point in time reports and answer key business questions that were previously unattainable given the constraints of their prior legacy system.
"After reviewing several solutions, Bearence selected syncHR. They recognized how syncHR would automate their manual payroll, HR and reporting needs while reducing the number of admin staff required to manage these departments. Bearence has had significant success implementing the software and have since started referring their own clients to us," said Steven Reger, Vice President of Sales for syncHR.
"SyncHR offers a visually-appealing, user-friendly interface. The workflow is great and the benefit module was really smooth. We were looking for a single source solution to replace our current process, which includes several, disparate tool solutions, to alleviate most of the manual work for our department. SyncHR's integration has made everything really easy for us," said Stan Hamann, Regional Director of Bearence.
SyncHR is a leading innovator for cloud-based human resources, benefits and payroll software. SyncHR reinvents how employers manage the complexities of human capital. Our innovative, single application provides a highly visual and consistent user experience with dynamically managed security across all areas. SyncHR's patented single database improves data integrity, eliminates duplicate processes, and supports date specific analytics and retroactive processing. A BENU subsidiary, syncHR has offices in San Mateo, California and Sofia, Bulgaria.
Bearence Management Group was founded in 2005 with the mission of creating an excellent organization that provided their colleagues with the type of environment that would enable them to provide unparalleled service to clients of all sizes, bringing innovative risk management solutions to clients who value service, expertise and relationships. Focusing on the risk, investments, communications, consulting and outsourcing, our firm goes beyond the more traditional insurance agency by evaluating a company's entire risk profile and developing solutions that may not include the purchase of insurance. Bearence operates today in three locations: West Des Moines, Iowa (corporate headquarters), Mendota Heights, Minnesota and Overland Park, Kansas.
Skeuomorphism usually means retaining existing design cues in something new that doesn’t actually need them. However, the concept of skeuomorphism can be thought of as relating more broadly to applying existing patterns to new technologies that, in fact, cry out for new approaches. In his session at DevOps Summit, Gordon Haff, Senior Cloud Strategy Marketing and Evangelism Manager at Red Hat, discussed why containers should be paired with new architectural practices such as microservices rathe...

The diversity of modern operations requires teams to focus their impact on breadth vs. depth. In his session at DevOps Summit, Adam Serediuk, Director of Operations at xMatters, Inc., will discuss the strategic requirements of evolving from Ops to DevOps, and why modern Operations has begun leveraging the “NoOps” approa...

Too often with compelling new technologies market participants become overly enamored with that attractiveness of the technology and neglect underlying business drivers. This tendency, what some call the “newest shiny object syndrome,” is understandable given that virtually all of us are heavily engaged in technology. But it is also mistaken. Without concrete business cases driving its deployment, IoT, like many other technologies before it, will fade into obscurity.

The Internet of Things is in the early stages of mainstream deployment but it promises to unlock value and rapidly transform how organizations manage, operationalize, and monetize their assets. IoT is a complex structure of hardware, sensors, applications, analytics and devices that need to be able to communicate geographically and across all functions. Once the data is collected from numerous endpoints, the challenge then becomes converting it into actionable insight.

Consumer IoT applications provide data about the user that just doesn’t exist in traditional PC or mobile web applications. This rich data, or “context,” enables the highly personalized consumer experiences that characterize many consumer IoT apps. This same data is also providing brands with unprecedented insight into how their connected products are being used, while, at the same time, powering highly targeted engagement and marketing opportunities. In his session at @ThingsExpo, Nathan Trel...

The time has come for a new approach that fundamentally advances the agility of distributed data infrastructures. Come learn about a new solution to the problems faced by software organ...
