From April 2nd 2014, KongZhong will officially start pre-order sales of Guild Wars 2 in China at the price of 88.00 RMB. Details for the Open Beta launch for Guild Wars 2 will be announced shortly.
Moreover, in a sign of confidence and evidence of Guild Wars 2 break from traditional online games in China, KongZhong and ArenaNet have decided to hold a large scale beta test event from 9:00 am on Mar 21st 2014 to 5:00 pm Mar 24th 2014, to allow let more players experience the game and the uniquely designed Royal Title system, a loyalty system designed to provide a reusable package of convenience items, plus gifts, plus discounts on everything else in the gem store. The large scale test is to allow Chinese players to experience this system first hand and the game as a whole prior the pre-sale start on April 2nd 2014 with the test expected to support up to 150,000 peak concurrent users.

From Apr 2nd to Apr 30th, the official website of Guild Wars 2 will officially begin taking pre-order sales for the game with details of the open beta launch to come shortly. Any player purchasing the game during this period will also receive a mysterious and special Guild Wars 2 related gift. Also, pre-sale order players can then directly update their beta test game client leading up to the Open Beta as to avoid the download process again.
