The names of the winners will be revealed at a gala evening to be held on May 8 in Montreal, hosted by Rene Vezina, economic columnist and blogger for the Les Affaires newspaper.
The "Aces of Finance" competition not only honours the stellar careers of financial executives, it also underlines the crucial role they play within their organization as well as their strategic contribution to the organization's performance. This prestigious award recognizes a financial executive who has had an outstanding career, has brought distinction to the profession of finance and serves as a source of inspiration to his or her peers.
"Now in its fourth year, this competition is a true celebration of our profession and the ultimate recognition for Quebec senior financial executives who have distinguished themselves in the last few years," said Louis Marcotte, President of the Quebec Chapter of FEI Canada. "This competition is a true testament to the energy and vitality of the finance profession, which continues to evolve and remains very important within organizations."

In the world of DevOps there are ‘known good practices’ – aka ‘patterns’ – and ‘known bad practices’ – aka ‘anti-patterns.' Many of these patterns and anti-patterns have been developed from real world experience, especially by the early adopters of DevOps theory; but many are more feasible in theory than in practice, especially for more recent entrants to the DevOps scene. In this power panel at @DevOpsSummit at 18th Cloud Expo, moderated by DevOps Conference Chair Andi Mann, panelists will dis...

Traditional data warehouse and analytical systems are mature technologies that can be used to handle large data sets, but they are not well suited to many IoT-scale products and the need for real-time insights. At Fuze, we have developed a backend platform as part of our mobility-oriented cloud service that uses Big Data-based approache...
