Compare Metrics, the leading provider of Adaptive Commerce navigation and discovery tools, today announced that Mike Sherman has joined the company as chief technology officer. Mike brings more than 20 years of experience successfully building and managing engineering teams for enterprise software startups and late stage companies, with a strong focus on developing big data and personalization-centric products. As CTO, Mike will be responsible for development and delivery of the Compare Metrics Adaptive Commerce solutions and the company’s overall technology strategy.
Prior to Compare Metrics, Mike served as director of retail engineering for RichRelevance where he was responsible for the development of the company’s retail products. During his tenure, Mike tripled the engineering team in only 12 months and oversaw product integration during the Avail acquisition. Mike has served as vice president of engineering at Mocana where he doubled the size of the company’s engineering team, managed engineering teams in the U.S. and India, and led efforts to build new products that helped the sales team substantially grow its revenue. He has also served as vice president of platform engineering and data center operations for DemandTech, and vice president of engineering for Kareo.
