TSO Logic Earns Top Product of the Year Award From Environmental Leader

Application-Aware Power Management(TM) Software Selected for Scalable Applications and Impressive Results

Application-Aware Power Management(TM) is considered by judges as an exemplary product due to its scale of application and the impressive results it provided for TSO Logic customers. One judge said of Application-Aware Power Management(TM), "This seems like a big idea with scalable applications and material impact. Application-Aware Power Management includes two integrated toolsets in one install, including; TSO Metrics which provides deep, unparalleled visibility into workload, performance, wasted energy, and untapped cost savings, and; TSO Power Control, which controls the power state of servers based on user demand without impacting end user performance. For one company, the software demonstrated a 56% reduction in power usage in a 600-server data center with a forecasted cost savings of nearly $600,000 over five years.

Scores were determined by a panel of independent judges headed by Matthew Littlefield of LNS Research and also included judges from companies including Microsoft, Arrow Electronics, Owens Corning, Citigroup Inc., Sam's Club, and the University of California, Berkeley.
