Eid Passport, Inc., a market leader in high-assurance identity management solutions, is partnering with the groundbreaking SERVe program to improve the health and well-being of veterans employed in Oregon. The study is a collaboration between Portland State University (PSU) and Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) and is funded by the U.S. Department of Defense.
“We are delighted that Eid Passport has agreed to participate in this study,” said Dr. Leslie Hammer, Industrial/Organizational Psychology director at PSU and principal investigator in the SERVe study. “The success of this program is dependent upon participating organizations, and having a large, local employer like Eid Passport get involved goes a long way.”
The study focuses on modifying the workplace to improve veteran reintegration-related experiences, and ultimately, increase job retention. Eid Passport will conduct supervisor training, developed by SERVe, and aimed at increasing on-the-job support for veteran employees. Anonymous employee surveys throughout the process will allow for assessments of the results of the program.
“The SERVe program is a significant step toward appropriately honoring and welcoming home our veterans,” said Steve Larson, founder and CEO of Eid Passport. “Many of our employees at Eid Passport are active or former service members. SERVe helps us to support them in a meaningful way that can make a substantial difference in their lives.”
