DELSEY CHATELET Awarded at the Travel Goods Show

DELSEY Is Honored in the Travel Industry Product Innovation Awards for the Second Year in a Row

PARIS, FRANCE -- (Marketwired) -- 03/26/14 -- DELSEY, the iconic French brand known for blending timeless quality and audacious design, has been presented with second place in the Travel Goods Show Product Innovation Awards, thanks to the new, one-of-a-kind brake system in the DELSEY CHATELET collection. This award confirms DELSEY CHATELET as a leading collection prior to the official launch this summer.

Each year industry professionals from over 50 countries unite at the Travel Goods Show for the largest display of travel products in the world. In conjunction with this important event, travel products are awarded innovation.

This year DELSEY CHATELET is selected thanks to the Stop and Go brake system. An easy access nob is conveniently located just under the telescoping handle, and travelers simply turn the nob to activate the brakes. When activated, the brakes lock the two front wheels of the luggage, preventing the bag from drifting away while allowing travelers to roll the bag on the two back wheels. Smooth, silent running wheels guarantee effortless maneuverability making this collection the perfect choice for frequent travelers.

CHATELET embodies everything DELSEY. The unmistakably French style is elegant and tasteful with soft leather trim. Made out of MAKROLON® polycarbonate, the collection is durable, scratch-resistant and lightweight. CHATELET features the DELSEY patented Zip SecuriTech, which is 41 times more resilient than a conventional zipper, on the medium and large sizes. An identification plate is also included for easy tracking if the luggage is lost.

2014 marks the second year in a row DELSEY has been honored at the Travel Goods Show Product Innovation Awards; last year DELSEY HELIUM AERO was recognized with third place.

DELSET CHATELET will be available this summer through retailers as well as at http://shop.delsey.us, which offers travel advice and packing details in addition to exclusive access to the DELSEY worldwide collections.

When it comes to cloud computing, the ability to turn massive amounts of compute cores on and off on demand sounds attractive to IT staff, who need to manage peaks and valleys in user activity. Companies are harnessing data in ways we once associated with science fiction. Analysts have access to a plethora of visualization and reporting tools, but considering the vast amount of data businesses collect and limitations of CPUs, end users are forced to design their structures and systems with limitations. Until now. As the cloud toolkit to analyze data has evolved, GPUs have stepped in to massively parallel SQL, visualization and machine learning.

How do you leverage advanced scheduling techniques to shape and describe each scenario in easy-to-use rules and configurations? In his session at @DevOpsSummit at 21st Cloud Expo, Oleg Chunikhin, CTO at Kublr, will answer these questions and demonstrate techniques for implementing advanced scheduling. For example, using spot instances ...

DevOps is under attack because developers don’t want to mess with infrastructure. They will happily own their code into production, but want to use platforms instead of raw automation. That’s changing the landscape that we understand as DevOps with both architecture concepts (CloudNative) and process redefinition (SRE). Rob Hirschfeld’s recent work in Kubernetes operations has led to the conclusion that containers and related platforms have changed the way we should be thinking about DevOps and...

We all know that end users experience the Internet primarily with mobile devices. From an app development perspective, we know that successfully responding to the needs of mobile customers depends on rapid DevOps – failing fast, in short, until the right solution evolves in your customers' relationship to your business.
