The new Avery Label Merge add-on brings the ease of Avery templates to your Google Docs content. Just use Google Sheets to create a spreadsheet with your address list or the names of attendees for your event, then this content can be inserted and formatted for Avery products by opening the Avery Label Merge add-on in Google Docs. Simply pick an Avery label template or name badge template, choose your spreadsheet, and select the columns within your spreadsheet to merge. The information from your spreadsheet is automatically imported and placed onto a new document, and you are ready to print your Avery product right from your inkjet or laser printer.
“We are excited to bring the ability to easily print our products to the millions of users of Google Docs with the Avery Label Merge add-on,” said David Maxson, Senior Director of Digital, Web and Software at Avery Products Corporation. “We expect this add-on to be popular for a wide variety of situations, from making holiday mailings happen in just a few clicks to creating name badges for meetings. Avery is always happy to provide new ways for our consumers to print, but we’re especially proud to be working with Google to bring mail merge to Google Docs users.”
Mail merge might seem like a daunting task, but now for Google Docs users, it can be done quickly and easily. To learn more, visit avery.com/googledocs.
