BOSTON, March 27, 2014 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- In the recent decision by Judge Johnston, DCF said some of the reasons why Justina was not being returned home involved the Pelletiers threatening to file a lawsuit against Connecticut DCF, excessive media attention, and abusive language by the Pelletiers toward DCF workers.
None of these were the original reason why DCF took custody of Justina and none of these reasons address the Pelletier's relationship with their daughter.
Sadly, Massachusetts DCF is punishing the Pelletiers for passionately speaking out for the release and welfare of their daughter. DCF's vindictive actions toward the family show they have no concern for the welfare of Justina.
Rev. Patrick Mahoney, spokesperson for the Pelletier family, said: "With Judge Johnston's recent decision, it is now clear that Massachusetts DCF is punishing the Pelletier's for passionately speaking out for the release of their daughter and being advocates for her welfare."
He added: "The judge's decision says nothing about how the Pelletier's have treated Justina and only address issues such as lawsuits and media attention. None of the these were the original reason why the state took custody of Justina. We call upon Massachusetts DCF to end this vindictive and hateful attack against the Pelletier's and return Justina home immediately."
Keith Mason, President of Personhood USA, stated: "The reasons given in Judge Johnston's most recent ruling expose the vengeful nature of Massachusetts DCF. They are purposefully punishing the Pelletiers for daring to question their authority and for speaking out on behalf of their daughter. This is a blatant abuse of bureaucratic power that should be concerning to any American."

However, to create real business value, IT must think beyond the ‘what’ of digital transformation to the ‘how’ to harness emerging trends, innovation and disruption. Architecture is the key that underpins and ties all these efforts together. In the digital age, it’s important to invest in architecture, extend the enterprise footprint to the cl...
