TOMS’ online retail needs are complex given its customers are located throughout the world. As a global company, with five country-specific sites and plans to expand, TOMS recently extended its initial six-month engagement with TAISTech for two additional years. TAISTech will provide ongoing maintenance and support for all of the TOMS sites that currently use the Oracle Commerce ATG and Endeca platform.
TAISTech provides flexible ATG support plans through onshore, offshore, or blended models. TOMS selected the offshore model, which provides lower overall costs, coupled with high-quality, responsive solutions delivered by team members that TOMS describes as “Rock Stars.”
Hilda Fontana, vice president of global development at TOMS, stated, “Rather than being order takers, the TAISTech team members are very proactive and ask questions to ensure they truly understand our needs before jumping in to solve the issue. They really know their product and have proven that they are the Oracle Commerce experts in the industry.” TAISTech’s 99 percent employee retention rate among its offshore team further solidified TOMS decision to extend the partnership for a two-year term. With this recent engagement, TAISTech doubled the staff supporting TOMS.
“Our clients get the best of both worlds with our model – lower cost and high quality,” said Mike Graziano, vice president of sales and client service, TAISTech. “Our employee retention rate, commitment to excellence and proactive communication with our clients’ team ensure that companies such as TOMS know they will get nothing but the best from us.”
Founded in 2000, TAISTech is a global implementation services firm focused on the Oracle Commerce ATG, Endeca and WebCenter Sites solutions. With over 140 highly experienced Oracle Commerce specialized professionals, TAISTech is an expert at delivering complete ATG and Endeca implementations, integrations, upgrades and ongoing application maintenance. In 2006, American traveler Blake Mycoskie befriended children in a village in Argentina and found they had no shoes to protect their feet. Wanting to help, he created TOMS, a company that would match every pair of shoes purchased with a pair of new shoes given to a child in need.
TOMS is in business to help improve lives. We identify a global need and create products to help address them. This simple idea is what makes us more than a company – we're a movement that's continually evolving. Learn more about TOMS at http://www.TOMS.com.
